Hello! I am a junior majoring in mechanical engineering and minoring in business. I love helping out first year students as an Orientation Leader for Cornell, an Orientation Assistant for College of Engineering, and an employee at the Tatkon center so needless to say I cannot wait to help you all as a Rho Gamma! On campus you can find me working on CUSD, hanging with my new bunny, and doing outdoorsy things like exploring the gorges or exploring the commons. I can’t wait to meet you all soon!
I’m a senior in the ILR school, double-minoring in Business as well as Law & Society. I work about 25-30 hours/week as a bartender at Rulloff’s Restaurant in Collegetown, and an additional 5-10 hours/week serving on the Governance Committee of my Family’s Company. Outside of school and work, I manage my sorority’s finances, [attempt to] study for the LSATs, and binge-watch Game of Thrones (only on season 3, so please no spoilers). I am originally from Dover, MA and have loved having Ithaca as my home-away-from-home; however, I am still the epitome of an obnoxious Boston sports fan #TB12 #GOAT. Hi! I’m Cindy and I’m a junior from Colorado studying chemical engineering. One of my core career interests is consumer products so last summer, I interned for P&G working for the Pampers brand (I loved it!). I’m deeply interested in social justice and service-learning so on campus, I’m on the e-board for Alternative Breaks. I’m a senior English major from Atlanta, Georgia. I love love editing and I edit for IvyUntold and Cornell Book Review. I have aspirations to be an editor in the publishing industry and be surrounded by book lovers daily. I love music dearly and have about 54 favorite bands. This past semester I studied in Cordoba, Spain and fell in love with the language. I signed a contract to speak spanish the entire time, but since then I haven’t spoken it much so I’ve gotten a little rusty! I watch a lot of TV. Right now, I’m obsessed with New Girl and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. I’m also a big sucker for cats and actively follow “Sweet Cats” and “Catspotting” on facebook. I’m a senior from the suburbs of Philadelphia PA, majoring in Operations Research Engineering and minoring in English! On campus I am an Outdoor Odyssey guide, a Canoeing instructor for Cornell Outdoor Education, and an occasional member of the club swim team. I am also a TA for CS 1110 and ENGRI 1101. I love biking, hiking, paddling, and and finding other ways to explore Ithaca and the surrounding areas. My current mission is to find the best ice cream shop in the fingerlakes region. I joined the women’s polo team (yep- the one with the horses!) my sophomore year and love to spend my free time at the barn. I am employed at the Cornell Public Service Center where I help students find volunteer opportunities that suite their needs so I am excited to help out as a Rho Gamma! I also work part-time in a research lab at the vet school studying melanoma. Outside of work and school I have a “little sister” through Tompkins County Big Brothers Big Sisters.
