Continuous Open Bidding (COB) is a great option for eligible women interested in joining a sorority!

What is COB?

Continuous Open Bidding (COB), is a more casual recruitment process that involves you interacting with women of the chapter during sessions planned entirely by that chapter. Some events may include a movie night, cookie decorating, bowling, dinner at the chapter house and more. Overall, COB is not as structured as formal recruitment week.

When is COB?

COB occurs at the beginning of the Fall semester of the academic year and immediately following the completion of Formal Recruitment in January.

Which chapters participate in COB?

Not all of the chapters on our campus are eligible to participate in COB. Chapter eligibility depends on membership numbers and available spots within a sorority. Additionally, chapters who have space may choose not to do COB.
